Courtney Ariel is a singer-songwriter, acoustic musician, and early scholar who thinks about, dreams about, and sings about relational wounding & repair, love, friendship, and spirituality. She is currently preparing to record a full-length album inspired by these and other topics. Courtney’s original music can be heard on streaming platforms; her advocacy writing has been featured bySojourners (Sojo.net), CNN, The Tennessean, and Harper's Bazaar. 

An enthusiastic watcher of birds and lover of trees in the Southeastern region of the U.S., Courtney holds the swaying palms, the lull and roar of the pacific ocean at the core of her being, always. When she's not spending time in community, she's known to be off somewhere, singing stories.

Lisa is a lifelong educator, caregiver, and community-centered teacher with many years of experience working with children of all ages. She has served as a teacher for children with special needs, taught classes focused on children’s emotional awareness and self-regulation, worked as a dance instructor, yoga instructor, college professor, and business owner, and most importantly, is a proud grandmother raising her grandson.

Lisa loves creating warm, inclusive spaces where children and families can feel safe, seen, and connected. She believes stories have the power to bring people together, build understanding, and help children gain awareness and love who they are. She is honored to host Story Time at Willow House, a space for cultivating authentic connection and belonging; where community and families of all kinds are always welcome.
